Delegates from SACMEQ and PASEC locked in a meeting in Paris

Representatives from the Southern and Eastern African Consortium for Monitoring Educational Quality (SACMEQ) and the ‘Programme d'analyse des systemes educatifs de la CONFEMEN (PASEC)’ met at IIEP offices in Paris on April 9, 2013 to discuss progress made in linking the two large scale international assessments. The main focus of the discussion was on the experiences from pilot testing of the common test items in SACMEQ and PASEC studies. The two organizations agreed to continue with the analysis of the Pilot data to facilitate selection of the final common test items for their upcoming studies.
